The world consists of 2 larger continents Arterria and Ameth, and the Western Continents , Hithlum, Nevrast and Wethrin.
Arteria is the new world, while mostly explored, is not entirely under the heel of the humans. Ameth is the old world, grandiose, used up, and in decline.
Hithlum, Nevrast and Wethrin are wild lands, largely unexplored, partially due to their geography, and partially due to the local flora and fauna.
Separating them all are the 3 seas, the Sea of Sorrows, The Yearning Sea, The Beryl Sea and the Expanse of Hinrial.
